Tropical Bridal Shower

Last summer, in the heat of Charleston Spring, I threw a tropical bridal shower with two amazing women that brought all the trendiness a wedding planner could ask for. I loved this shower because it was cheap, easy, and so much fun! The setting was by the dreamiest pool with a giant diamond ring float (naturally), so all of our guests wore shorts or summer dresses over their swim suits.

Colors: Black, White, Green, and BRIGHT PINK AND ORANGE!

Theme: Pineapple Paradise

Guest Count: 15-20

Budget: $200

Decor

1. We used pineapples as the centerpieces. I LOVED this idea because we sent a pineapple home with all of the guests at the end of the party and people LOVED it!

2. Colorful flowers! The best part about a tropical bridal shower are the brighter the flowers, the better! You can find cheap bright flowers at ANY grocery store and luckily we had a flower guru available to arrange them for us!

3. Palm leaves under clear glass plates! I bought the glass plates at dollar tree and ordered the palm leaves on amazon! $20 and BAM table setting ever. (WARNING: These glass plates get REAL hot in the sun)

4. Outdoor Pillows! The home owner that hosted our party went to Walmart and stocked up on a buggy full of the $5 outdoor pillows. It made the entire table set up!!

Food

We scheduled the event around brunch and it helped cut costs significantly!

1. Powdered Doughnuts!

2. Fruit Kabobs

3. Chicken Salad Sandwiches

4. Bacon

5. Mini Pancakes

6. Quiches (a variety of these!)

7. Dips!!!

Cookies

Since we were able to get the food for so cheap, we splurged on super cute custom cookies from Southernly Sweet in Charleston, SC

Bubbly Bar

Let's face it. We all come to brunch events for the mimosas! Huge thank you to Neer the Creek for her beautiful calligraphy for our sign!

Overall, this was a beautiful and easy shower and Target, Walmart, and Dollar Tree have so many tropical nick snacks right now!!!
