Alhambra Hall Wedding | Charleston, South Carolina

February 22nd, 2020 was a day to remember. The weather was in the high 60's, the skies were Carolina Blue, and the love was ALL around! This group of people had an amazing time and if you look in the background of these pictures you will see their guests filled with nothing but pure happiness for this amazing couple!

Here are a few of my FAVORITE parts of their wedding:

Black Bridesmaid Dresses + Tuxedos

This was one of the best looking bridal parties I have ever worked with! I actually did black bridesmaids dresses for my own wedding and honestly just LOVE the way they look in wedding photos. Not only does everyone look good in black, but they also really make the bride "pop" and it looks SO classy! It is a color that will never go out of style and a great way to incorporate winter colors without going into "Winter Wonderland" mode.

Classic Set Up!

The Bride and her mother provided a lot of the decorations for us. They labels each box, provided pictures and directions, and it was a very easy way to accomplish exactly what they wanted. It's hard for us when couples bring us a truck load full of random decor, so we always encourage people to give us clear pictures and ideas of what you want and then make sure to unwrap and package those items accordingly. We have a lot going on the wedding day with the different vendors, load in times, and wedding day mishaps that come up! This is a huge time saver and allows us to accomplish the wedding dream in a timely manner!

Speciality Cocktails!

This group knows how to have a good time. They did the ceremony off site at the Summerall Chapel (Citadel) and then got a trolley to take them back to the venue when they were done with pictures! We got through all of the "formalities" and dinner and then this crowd hit the dance floor!! I was in the back pretending to floss during some of the dancing! The couple chose to do "specialty cocktails" during the cocktail hour, but once those were gone everyone stuck to beer and wine. I love a good liquor drink as much as the next person, but I have seen things get sloppy quick at weddings when they provide endless liquor. This is a great way to celebrate, have a good time, and eliminate any bridesmaids throwing up in the bushes!! LOL
